Be Aware. Make Aware.

Have you ever had one of those moments where you thought something needed to be done with the world, but you didn't know what? You thought, "Hey, I'm just one little person; What can I do?" So you gave up. You left it alone. 'Cuz one little person can't change the world, right? Wrong. If enough of those "little" persons get together to do something instead of just ignoring what's right in front of his or her face, things will start coming together. That's what this site is for.  When I went down to New Orleans with the ELCA this year, I saw things that were...heart-breaking. I discovered so many issues, like poverty and abuse and trafficking, that made my heart ache. When I got back to my hometown, I was asked what I could do to make a difference, and it came to me. Perhaps, if enough people were made aware of the problems within the world, something can really happen. And I know it will.

Thank you to the people of New Orleans, who welcomed me into their beautiful city. Thank you to the ELCA, who got the trip together. Thank you to all the motivational speakers I have heard over the years; you have truly been an inspiration to me. Thank you to my church youth group; you guys have always supported me like a family.  Thank you to God for blessing me. And thank you to YOU, for coming to this site and wanting to make a difference. I know WE will.
